Job Description
The Business Analyst (BA) in the Transformation Office plays a critical role in supporting business change initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring that transformation efforts are aligned with strategic business needs as directed by the Head of Transformation. The BA supports stakeholders across the business to define, document, and analyze processes, systems, and data needed to inform the transformation programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Engage with business unit stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document current processes ("as-is") and design future state processes ("to-be") needed to enable the strategic plan.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
- Conduct impact analysis, feasibility studies, market analysis activities and business case development for strategic growth projects.
- Generate reports as required to inform management on Transformation Office projects.
- Support the planning and execution of key transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals as directed.
- Work closely with Head of Transformation, project leaders and technical teams to validate solutions and ensure business readiness.
Data-Driven Insights
- Gather and analyze data to inform decision-making and monitor the impact of transformation initiatives.
- Support the development of dashboards, reports, and KPIs aligned to transformation success metrics.
- Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- 3–5 years experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical or transformation-focused role
- Demonstrated experience working on business process improvements, digital transformation, or enterprise change programs
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong documentation skills (e.g., process maps, use cases, requirements specs)
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Prosci or other delivery methodologies
- Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Power BI, or equivalent
Desirable:
- Industry experience or knowledge of manufacturing, energy, finance industries
- Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, CRM)
- Relevant certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or similar)
